Each reflection has its own story. The core facts are described while the personal and privacy of the situation is reserved.

I hope you learn as much from these reflections as I have and are able to incorporate them as part of your own healing and growth.

Each reflection is presented in a question/response format. You are encouraged to submit your own questions to receive a response as a reflection of "How Hypnosis Can You".

The following relections relate to Relationships and how hypnosis addresses each one.

Dear Reflection:
My wife suspects that I may have been unfaithful at some time during our marriage. I have assured that this is not the case; however she thinks I should be hypnotized to set things straght. I did have an afair some time ago but it is over now and I want to save my marriage so I agreed to the hypnosis.

Can I cover up the lie during hypnosis, or will I be forced to tell the truth?

Don't want to tell the truth

Response:
Dear Don't want to tell the truth:
During hypnosis you are always in control and cannot be made to do or say anything you do not want to. Although you are relaxed, you can accept or reject the suggestions the therapist give you. There is no way to determine if you are lying or telling the truth. Hypnosis is about using the imagination to make improvements in your life.

If you are sincere about your marriage, then you will want to work with therapist to create a wholesome and sincere relationship with your wife and there will be no need to life.

Dear Reflections:
My boy friend and I have been engaged for two years and are ready to tie the knot. I have a elder aunt who I really love and trust. She thinks I don't know whether my boy friend and I are compatible enough to get married.

She is suggesting that before we get married, we should be hypnotherized and find out if we are really meant for each other. This sounds foolish to me. Can hypnosis really tell if two people are compatible?

Are we compatible?

Dear are we compatible:
Compatibbility is a general term. People can be categorized as emotionally compatible, physical compatible, spiritual compatible and the list goes on and on.

There many tools that claim to determine if two people are compatible and are meant for each other. Some examples are astrology, compatibility test surveys, interviewing methods, etc. Hypnosis does not not fit into these categories.

A hypnosis session will not tell if two people are compatible or not. It will help identify personality traits that may need to be improved before a successful relationship is established.

Through hypnosis you can learn how to develop better self esteem, build self-confidence and improve how you see other people in your life.

I believe when these characteristics are achieved, a wholesome compatible relationship can be established.
